A request to remove your own unwanted vehicle is different from a request to remove someone else's vehicle from property you control. Choosing the correct starting point helps Chain Gang collect the information relevant to the situation instead of asking you to complete an unrelated form.
If you own the vehicle
Explain that you are the vehicle owner and describe the available title documents. Chain Gang's owner-surrender request collects contact, vehicle, pickup, and title-status information for review. It does not replace required title paperwork or complete an ownership transfer simply because the form was submitted.
If a title is missing, state that accurately. Do not present a registration, a handwritten note, or a website submission as automatically equivalent to a transferable title. Ask what documentation and next steps apply before arranging removal.
If the vehicle belongs to someone else
Explain your role concerning the property and how the vehicle came to be there. Disclose known disputes, liens, holds, or other restrictions. Submit a request, then obtain confirmation
Identity verification helps establish who submitted the request. It does not establish vehicle ownership or settle authority to remove, sell, or dispose of the vehicle. Staff review remains necessary before service can be accepted.
