Give the street address, town, and a useful landmark. “Near the house with the skeletons” might narrow things down in July; on Halloween, you may need a house number or cross street.
If you are at a party or event, explain which entrance reaches the car and whether a gate or other parked vehicles block it. Keep your phone available so the driver can clarify the pickup.
A dashboard light is not a festive decoration
An unexpected warning light, strange noise, or vehicle that will not start should be described honestly. You do not need a diagnosis—or an exorcism—to make the call. Tell dispatch what happened, what you can observe safely, and the vehicle’s year, make, and model.

Plan a ride for the living
Confirm where the car is going and whether the receiving shop can accept it. Arrange transportation for your group separately when needed; a towing request does not guarantee passenger space for everyone in costume.
